About Jacquelyn K. Pentland
Jacquelyn K. Pentland has been telling stories since second grade, when she first began filling notebooks with imagined worlds and unlikely heroes. What began as childhood wonder has grown into a lifelong devotion to epic fantasy rooted in myth, faith, and the fragile tension between light and shadow.
Her work explores inheritance, destiny, and the cost of power—where ancient forces collide with deeply human choices.
She recently completed and thoroughly revised her debut novel, Last of the Valley Elves, and is actively seeking literary representation.
By day, Jacquelyn works as a payroll manager, where precision and structure guide her professional world. By night—and in the quiet in-between moments—she builds layered worlds of magic, history, and belief.
She lives with her husband, their two children, a dignified cat named Cadbury, and a loyal dog named Wesley. When she is not writing, she can often be found reading widely, revising meticulously, or imagining the next crossing between worlds.
